It is one of the most beautiful and extensive circuits of the Cordillera Blanca, where we walk across ancient Incas ways surrounded with leafy forests of quenuales and exotic flora of the Andean region, rivers of crystalline waters, beautiful lakes as Cullicocha, Huecrococha; immense walls of rocks and the impressive scenery that offers to us the sight of the snow-capped mount Alpamayo considered the most beautiful Mountain of the World, and other mountains such us: Taulliraju, Quitaraju, Santa Cruz, Artesonraju, Etc.
Itinerary
Day 1: Huaraz - Hualcayan - Huishkash
Day 2: Huishcash - Cullicocha lake - Pass (4780 m.a.s.l.) - Osoruri (4430 m.a.s.l.)
Day 3: Oso Ruri - Osoruri pass (4670 m.a.s.l.) - Jankarurish (4200 m.a.s.l.)
Day 4: Jankarurish - Moraine camp of Alpamayo (4850 m.a.s.l.) - Jankarurish.
Day 5: Jancarurish - Kara Kara pass (4830 m.a.s.l.) - Huillca (4200 m.a.s.l.)
Day 7: Huillca - Yanajanka pass (4560 m.a.s.l.) - Jankapampa (4250 m.a.s.l.)
Day 8: Jankapampa - Tupa Tupa pass (4400 m.a.s.l.) - Huecrococha lake (4200 m.a.s.l.)
Day 9: Huecrococha - Puka Raju pass (4650 m.a.s.l.) - Tuctupampa (3950 m.a.s.l.)
Day 10: Tuctupampa - Punta Unión 4750 m - Hatuncocha 3900 m.a.s.l.
Day 11: Hatuncocha - Cashapampa 2900 m.a.s.l. - Huaraz.
