It is one of the fouth highest mounts in Cordillera Blanca, a demanding mountain because its difficult access and impresive glaciers, many climbres prefer this mount because it is as difficult as Huascaran mount and takes almost the same amount of days. From the summit of this mount can be seen many mountains of the central part of Cordillera Blanca but the most impresive views are the two peaks of Huascaran.
Itinerary
Day 1: Huaraz - Llanganuco - Base camp 4200 m.
Day 2: Base camp - Moraine camp 4600 m.
Day 3: Moraine camp - Camp I 5300 m.
Day 4: Camp I - Summit 6354 m - Moraine camp
Day 3: Moraine camp - Base camp - Huaraz
