Santa Cruz - Llanganuco

This trek is one of the most famous in the Cordillera Blanca range because in its ravines we find lakes, snow-capped mountains, animals and wild birds. In this trekking we find simultaneously three important ravines. Santa Cruz, Huaripampa and Llanganuco ravine, the most importan in this trail is the view of the most beautiful mountain of the World. “Alpamayo 5947 m.” that was named in 1966 by a survey carried out by the German magazine “ALPINISMUS “ which posted 65 letters to the most select mountaineers, famous and expert that have known the mountains of the world.
During the walk also we will observe to the highest tropical mountain of the world “HUASCARAN 6768 m.” and the fourth in America. This Mountain is very famous and simultaneously it is the goal of many climbers.
Itinerary
Day 1: Huaraz - Chashapampa - Llamacorral
Day 2: Llamacorral - Taullipampa
Day 3: Taullipampa - Punta Unión - Huaripampa
Day 4: Huaripampa - Vaquería - Huaraz
